“In 2023, fire managers and agency administrators on the San Juan National Forest and their partners faced many of the same challenges they face every summer. But, by embracing different ways of thinking about fire, not only were risks and tradeoffs discussed openly, but relationships were improved during a busy fire season, and threats to values were addressed while maintaining firefighter safety as their highest priority.”
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday at Coyote Moon.
