ACLU of Colorado Launches New Podcast, ‘Of the People’

By Erica Tinsley

The ACLU of Colorado has launched its new podcast, “Of the People.”

“Of the People” is a podcast created to shed light on our collective efforts to protect and expand civil rights and civil liberties for all Coloradans. We will showcase important stories of community members who face civil rights inequities in our state and shine a light on activists and advocates who fight to achieve justice for impacted people.

“For more than 70 years, the ACLU of Colorado has advocated and advanced change for all Coloradans. Our mission is to make Colorado the most just and equitable state in our country. Our stories on ‘Of the People’ showcase the lived experiences of those who are critical in shaping our work,” said Deborah Richardson, ACLU of Colorado Executive Director. “It is our hope that listeners will be inspired to join in advocating for those issues that impact their lives and others.”

Through “Of the People,” the ACLU of Colorado strives to empower listeners through awareness and education about the work we do at the ACLU and how they can get involved.

In addition to SoundCloud, “Of the People” can be streamed on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Erica Tinsley is Interim Director of Communications, ACLU of Colorado.
