The Pagosa Springs Area Chamber of Commerce invites businesses to apply for the 2024 ‘Business After Hours’ events, co-sponsored by the Chamber.
The winning applicants will be chosen by lottery on Friday, November 3. Sign up today to see if you win!
Here are some of the benefits to hosting a Business After Hours:
- Promotes business
- Referrals
- Publicity – social media, email, photos
- Highlights their business products and services
- Name and brand recognition
- Maximizes a chamber benefit
- Product sales during the event
- Networking opportunities
- Introduce a new business
- Partner with other near-by Chamber businesses to increase lottery chances, share event costs and improve location exposure
- Partner with a non-profit or home-based business, that may not have store frontage. Increase lottery chances, share event costs and capitalize on better business collaboration.
- Just plain fun!
The Pagosa Chamber will provide the following support:
- Promote the event – social media, updates, Livestream, radio, email
- Promote before, the day of and after the event
- Work closely with the host to make sure things run smoothly
- Promote your Business After Hours on the weekly Chamber radio show for several weeks
- Promote your Business After Hours through the Newsletter and Weekly Updates email program
- Provide invitations to Chamber Members and other members of the business community
- Display event signage in front of the venue on the Business After Hours date
- Greet the guests
- Provide registration table and staff
- Provide setup and clean-up of the bar and registration areas
- Promote the door prizes
- Provide the table for the bar, glasses, bar staff, non-alcoholic — and alcoholic beverages if you do not have a current liquor license through the State of Colorado. If you have a valid liquor license, contact the Chamber for liquor handling guidelines
- Admission to the Business After Hours for a total of 5 attendees associated with the business at no charge
As the Host business, to ensure the success of your Business After Hours event, here are some suggestions:
- Provide ideas for Business After Hours flyer or the artwork itself, subject to Chamber approval
- Promote your Business After Hours with personal invitations to your client list
- Provide a venue large enough to support 40-50 guests
- Provide light food service for 40-50 guests
- Provide door prizes to increase attendance, if desired
- Provide the names of up to 5 guests you are hosting to be admitted without charge

- October 23
- November 20
- December 18

- From the above dates, please give us 3 months, in order of preference, that you would like to host a Business After Hours.
- Submit your business name and contact information.
