The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) recently recognized 15 County governments for 2022 C-Stat Distinguished Performance.
Archuleta County was recognized for meeting 75% of C-Stat goals.
Hinsdale County met 83.3% of C-Stat goals.
C-Stat is a performance management tool that allows CDHS to better focus on and improve performance outcomes that enhance people’s lives. The Distinguished Performance Award recognizes Counties that meet goals for timeliness, safety and accuracy in their work. Counties that meet their goals are more likely to be meeting the needs of individuals and families in their community. They are also more likely to have more completed applications for programs such as SNAP, the Low-income Energy Assistance Program and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). The Counties’ exceptional performance will help more Coloradans feed their families, heat their homes, care for their loved ones and realize their potential. Connecting people with essential services empowers them to pursue opportunities to develop valuable skills, get good jobs, and build a more secure future for themselves and their families.
“Once again our County partners have stepped up to deliver for Coloradans,” said CDHS Interim Co-Executive Director Anne-Marie Braga. “Their expertise and dedication help individuals and families across our state to maximize their health, safety and dignity. By achieving their goals, our county teams are empowering people in their communities to pursue theirs.”
