‘Landowner Basics 101’ Workshop Set for Tomorrow, March 11

The San Juan Conservation District is sponsoring a landowner workshop — ‘Landowner Basics 101’— to educate landowners about the challenges and resources available to landowners here in Southwest Colorado.

Living in Rual Colorado is often challenging. This program is designed primarily for land owners with 100 acres or less, but will helpful for all.

The workshop will be held at the CSU/Extension Office tomorrow Saturday, March 11, from 9:00am until noon.

Presentations will be given by:

Archuleta County Weed and Pest Management — ‘Identification and Control of Weeds’

Colorado Division of Water Control — ‘Water Rights Administration’

Natural Resources Conservation Service — ‘Pasture and Range Health’

Colorado Parks and Wildlife — ‘Living with Wildlife’

Colorado State Forest Service — ‘Forest Health’
