PAWSD Board Seeking Applicants for Vacancy

The Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District invites residents living within the PAWSD district to submit a letter of interest for a Board vacancy.

The Board’s Vice President, Blake Brueckner, submitted a letter of resignation on August 11, stating that his resignation would be effective as of August 18 and that it had been a “pleasure” serving on the board.

At the August 18 Board meeting, District Manager Justin Ramsey stated that a couple of people had expressed interest in the position, although PAWSD would advertise the position further, he said, and might make a decision on the appointment at the next board meeting, scheduled for September 8.

Board member Glenn Walsh commented that, due to pending multi-million-dollar decisions PAWSD will be considering in the near future, it would be valuable for the board to have additional perspectives.

People interested in serving on the PAWSD Board should submit a letter of intent to District Manager Justin Ramsey by email, at justin@pawsd.org.
