HMPRESENTLY: Found, At Last? The Missing Link?

By God… I think I’ve found it!

The elusive, mysterious ‘missing link!’

Hidden away, perhaps, somewhere among the millions, or even trillions, of synapses in the brains of human beings.

There’s even a name for it. ‘Live and live,’ that’s what I’m calling it… that missing link, hidden in those many synapses that constantly are processing our way of thinking about things.

If only we all knew how to find it.

One of the definitions of ‘missing link’ is “something that you do not have and that you need,” in order “to solve a problem.”

Intolerance is a problem plaguing nations of people — not everyone, but more than enough humans, here on Earth.  Missing, sometimes, in their thinking, is the desire, the will, and the commitment to countenance that simple idea of letting people live and let live.

I don’t wanna get all preachy, but there’s a whole lot of intolerance, all around. Just listen to what some of the politicians — some of them — are saying and legislating, if you don’t believe me.

I remember, as a kid, a clergyman using ‘countenance,’ in his sermon, and I just looked up the word, as I was thinking about ‘live and let live.’

Admitting something as being acceptable is one way of defining it.

I’ll bet, these days, clergypersons – maybe not all of them, but some of them – might be using that term in their sermons, when they’re urging folks to be open to things.

What some clergypersons might omit saying in sermons… but might be thinking… might be:

What the hell is wrong with that?
