Changes in Work Schedule at This Year’s Habitat House

Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County is continuing to build its 2021 home at 642 Florida Street, and would like to let all volunteers (and potential volunteers) know that the work schedule has changed.

Hours are now 9am to 3pm, Tuesday through Saturday, throughout the winter. The later start time will be better than having to get there quite so early, due to colder mornings as winter approaches.

We need local volunteers! We will mostly be working on painting and miscellaneous indoor items.

Next Two Work Weeks: Tuesday, October 19 through Saturday, October 30.

If you can volunteer time on the build site, call or email Debbie and she’ll get you set up: 970-264-6960 or office@HabitatArchuleta.org

The house is at 642 Florida Street in downtown Pagosa. Our workdays are generally Tuesday – Saturday 9am – 3pm. Be sure to sign in at the build site when you start your volunteer shift, bring a lunch and plenty of sunscreen.

Your health and safety are of the utmost importance to us. Habitat Archuleta will be following local COVID-19 recommendations for safe work practices, including physical distancing, face masks, and increased hygiene practices. We encourage volunteers and employees to get vaccinated.

We appreciate all you do!

Please contact our office at 970-264-6960 (Mon-Fri, 11am – 3pm) if you should have any questions or concerns. Or email us at office@HabitatArchuleta.org
