HMPRESENTLY: If I Ruffle His Feathers Again, Will Donald Trump, At Last, Insult Me?

Not once, has Donald Trump insulted me, or given me a humiliating nickname. He hasn’t called me ‘that bonehead’ or ‘third-rate loser Harvey Radin.’

He’s never even alleged I have a low — that’s another one of his ‘patented’ put-downs — or called me ‘low-energy, sleepy-eyed Radin.’

Should I feel insulted, that he’s not insulting me?

I’ve poked fun at him, and not just occasionally, but 74 times, so far, in articles I’ve written. And what do I get, in return? Not one insult! Not a single nickname!

He sure finds time to insult others, like Hillary Clinton, he’s still insulting her, years after she ran against him, in the 2016 presidential election.

And more recently, he’s been lobbing insults at Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, because of their new book about the Trump administration, and he’s insulted his niece, Mary Trump, for writing what’s been described in the media as her “scathing” books about her Uncle Donald.

And ignoring presidential tradition, Mr. Trump regularly insults his successor in the Oval Office, Joe Biden, and even past Republican presidents, including George W. and George H.W. Bush.

Didn’t he mock Pete Buttigieg, who’s now the nation’s Secretary of Transportation, by nicknaming him ‘Alfred E. Neuman’ (the fictitious character in MAD magazine)?

Maybe my 74 articles just aren’t enough? What more can I do, to get POTUS 45’s attention?

Should I try emulating Charles P. Pierce, who frequently calls Donald Trump “El Caudillo del Mar-a-Lago,” in his Esquire magazine articles?

‘El Caudillo,’ translated from Spanish to English, can mean ‘warlord.’

Maybe I should come up with something similar? Or, should I take some other ’75th dig’ at the 45th president?

There’s that Cyber Ninjas audit of Arizona votes, I could write something about that.

Because, just as Mr. Trump was praising “a group of ‘highly respected’ GOP auditors in Arizona,” according to Business Insider, those auditors — the Cyber Ninjas — were validating Joe Biden’s victory over Trump. After months of checking, double- and triple-checking votes in Arizona’s Maricopa County, the Ninjas reported that Mr. Trump had lost to President Biden by 300 more votes than had been tallied previously.

I could mention something about POTUS 45 being an even bigger loser, out there in the Grand Canyon state. Maybe that?

If I ruffle his feathers a 75th time, will Donald Trump, at last, insult me?
