Pagosa Springs ‘Urban Renewal Authority’ to Host Listening Sessions This Week

The Pagosa Springs Urban Renewal Authority (PSURA), a tax-funded entity created by the Pagosa Springs Town Council in 2019, wants to hear from the citizens of Archuleta County.

By participating in one of three scheduled ‘listening sessions’ this week, community members can learn more about the purpose of a Urban Renewal Authority, and how it can help address community priorities like workforce housing, trails, and other desired public amenities.

Consultants from Short Elliott Hendrickson (SEH), a Durango-based planning and design firm, will help guide the listening sessions and are partnering with the PSURA to learn from the community what project areas and amenities are most desired.

Three Sessions to Attend

Each listening session will be the same, so attend on a date and time that works best for you. All three opportunities will be held virtually on Zoom. Your participation will help the Town plan for our community’s future.

Bill Hudson

Bill Hudson began sharing his opinions in the Pagosa Daily Post in 2004 and can't seem to break the habit. He claims that, in Pagosa Springs, opinions are like pickup trucks: everybody has one.
