The Fourth of July celebration in Bayfield takes place this Sunday, with a pancake breakfast and pie sale at 8:00am, the Momentum Fitness Firecracker Fun Run at 10:00am, the flag raising and National Anthem at 11:45am and the Parade at noon. Live music with “Third and Long” in the Rotary Club beer garden begins immediately following the parade.
Kids events, food and merchandise vendors, and information booths will be in Joe Stephenson Park. Visitors are encouraged to park at Bayfield High School, Middle and Intermediate schools north of Hwy 160. Shuttle buses will run from 10:00am until 3:00pm. Bayfield Highway and Buck Highway/CR 521 will be closed from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
Attendees should bring folding chairs, water and sunscreen Accessible parking for cars with a handicapped placard or plate will be available at Bayfield Town Hall. More information is available on the Town of Bayfield Facebook page. Due to fire restrictions and drought conditions, there will be no fireworks in Bayfield.
