With the hope afforded us by the COVID-19 vaccines that are becoming available, perhaps a quote ascribed to Winston S. Churchill is appropriate. I hope I remember it correctly:
“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”
I believe Mr. Churchill said this around the time the tide of WW II was beginning to turn in favor of the Allies.
