‘Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the World’ This Saturday, March 19 in Pagosa

By Lynne McCrudden

The congregation of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church encourages everyone in the community to come celebrate our patron saint, with the shortest parade in the world (… or at least we like to think so).

On Saturday, March 19, starting at 11:00am, we will gather to organize the parade.

The parade will begin at 11:30am and end at 11:45am, so don’t be late.

Crafters and non-profit organizations will be on campus to share their talents and passions until 2:00pm. There will be free chili dogs, beer and Irish coffee to purchase for $5.00, face painting and activities for the kids.

There is still room for more vendors or anyone who would like to just walk, skip, jig or jog in the parade. If you would like to participate either as a vendor or be in the parade please contact the church at 970-731-5801 before Friday, March 18. Wear your green, be Irish for a couple hours, join your neighbors and friends in celebrating the beginning of Spring.

We look forward to welcoming you all to our St. Patrick’s Parade. St. Patrick’s Church is located at 225 S. Pagosa Blvd. just south of Pagosa Springs Medical Center.
