The Democratic Club’s monthly meeting will be held today, Monday, February 24, at Coyote Moon restaurant.
We’ll hear from Emily Murphy, director of Pagosa Peak Open School. She’ll discuss pushing forward social justice and community connections with students through Restorative Practices and Project-Based Learning.
PPOS is an intentionally small, K-8 district charter school, tuition free and open to all.
Arrive at 11:30am to order lunch. (Pro tip: Paying cash speeds up the process!) Our program begins at noon.
We’ll be collecting donations for the school scholarship fund.
