To learn more about volunteering at Chimney Rock National Monument, please come join us at the Ruby Sisson Library from 1 to 2pm this Thursday, February 27. We will be there to visit with you, explain our volunteer offerings,answer questions and welcome you to the Chimney Rock family.
Anyone can be a volunteer.
The Chimney Rock Interpretive Association (CRIA) will offer volunteer orientation on May 2 and 3 and throughout the season by working with ad hoc mentors.
You can volunteer as often as you like. You can set your own schedule at the beginning of each year and pick up other opportunities later in the season when you realize how much you enjoy being a part of the Chimney Rock family.
CRIA and the San Juan National Forest of the U.S. Forest Service, Department of Agriculture are working in partnership to preserve and develop educational opportunities about the significant archaeological, cultural, geological and biological resources at Chimney Rock National Monument.
