‘First Friday Comedy Improv’ to Feature Bob Hemenger This Friday, Feb. 7

This Friday, February 7 at 7pm, Lickety-Split Comedy and Thingamajig Theatre are excited to welcome to their stage local jazz musician Bob Hemenger. Inspired by your suggestions, Bob will tell us stories drawn from his life as a professional musician, avid outdoorsman, and long-time Pagosa resident.

Using these stories for inspiration, Lickety-Split will make up funny scenes and characters on the spot. In the second act, Bob will be inspired by the comedy to tell more stories and rumor has it that he may throw in some croony tunes from his sweet saxophone.

Tickets are $10 and are available on pagosacenter.org.

Based out of the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts, Lickety-Split Comedy began just over a year ago, offering improvisation classes and monthly shows ranging from silly quick scenes to family-friendly nights to our special Father’s Day show featuring thoughtful essays about fatherhood paired with our usual comedic antics. It is Lickety-Split’s mission to bring laughter and joy to their audiences and students by embracing whole-hearted fun and authenticity.

With over 50 years of improvisation and comedy experience between them, Scott Morehead and Karisa Bruin lead Lickety-Split and their fellow performers on this playful romp all using Bob’s stories as the fodder for our creations! This show is not to be missed as it is a one-time-only event!
