Join the Town of Pagosa Springs on December 21 from 5 to 7pm for the fourth annual ‘Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration’ in downtown Pagosa.
Enjoy more than 20 Christmas-themed displays and activities, live music, free hot chocolate and cider, a photo booth, games, toys and other goodies. And, of course, Santa Claus.
Santa will arrive at his workshop at the Visitor Center shortly after 5pm with the help of sled dogs. There will be opportunities to view Santa’s arrival along San Juan Street and the Hot Springs Boulevard Bridge.
The walking route extends along the Riverwalk from Centennial Park to Town Park, crossing Veterans Bridge and down San Juan Street to the Visitor Center.
Entry points for the event include Town Park, the Visitor Center and Centennial Park. Look for decorated white tents at the key entry points to receive festive lights and free ornaments. Attendees are encouraged to bring flashlights. The event will be held regardless of weather.
New for 2025, we will have an opportunity for attendees to vote for their favorite decorated segment. The winning segment will receive $250 in advertising through The Pagosa Springs SUN. Look for signs at the event to vote. Segments have been adopted by groups, organizations and businesses.
This event is a collaboration of the Town of Pagosa Springs, Archuleta County and The Pagosa Springs SUN. Please join us for a fun and festive evening in downtown Pagosa Springs to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season.
