Lickety-Split Comedy is teaming up with Thingamajig Theatre Company to offer exciting new classes this winter.
Starting January 7, Improv Basics will teach foundational improv skills, fun games, and the art of risk-taking in a warm, collaborative environment. Open to anyone 18+, this eight-week class culminates in a free public performance on March 4 at 7pm.
The class will be led by Scott Morehead, co-founder of Lickety-Split Comedy. Scott brings over a decade of experience from Chicago’s comedy scene, including two acclaimed revues at The Second City and performances at renowned theaters like Woolly Mammoth in D.C. and Dallas Theater Center. Pagosa audiences may remember Scott’s powerful performance in Tiny Beautiful Things last year, and students will also have the chance to see him perform in A Walk in the Woods at Thingamajig this January.
Classes meet Tuesdays from 6–9pm at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts. No experience is required — just bring your curiosity and sense of adventure!
Reserve your spot today at pagosacenter.org.
Additionally, Lickety-Split’s other co-founder, Karisa Bruin, will offer an acting class on Wednesdays, also starting in January. Learn more and sign up here.
Both classes are designed to build connections, boost creativity, and bring joy to the community through laughter.
