Pagosa UU Fellowship to Consider ‘A Personal Theology’

A Personal Theology Processed through Process Theology is the title of the homily that will be shared at the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist (UU) Fellowship on December 1, beginning at 10:30am, by De Anna Hoyle, who serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator for the UU Fellowship here in Pagosa.

Ms. Hoyle is a trained religious educator and spiritual director working with people of all ages to engage more deeply to what is described as the magical in the mundane. This magical sense is what she hopes to express in her offering.

She states, “There is something that intrigues me about those moments of synchronicity, those times when all of life’s little disturbances fall away and I am left with a sense of awe and connection – I feel held. I hope to convey a sense of wonder through stories, music with a little bit of science thrown in.”

Come with some curiosity, stay for refreshments and fellowship after the service, and join us on a journey of making friends, growing your spirit and doing good. As part of our monthly offerings, we will gather on December 8 for our Going Deeper Sharing Circle, which begins at 11:00 am, after meditation. The sharing circle is a way to explore the sermon topics a more deeply and offers a safe space to be in community with others to share what is on our hearts. Check out more information by visiting our website – PagosaUU.org, where you will also find a link to the most recent newsletter and upcoming programs.
