Habitat Archuleta is thrilled to announce Houses 34, 35 and 36 have all received their Certificates of Occupancy! This puts us almost three months ahead of last year’s build season. We would like to send a HUGE “Thank You” to all our volunteers, contractors, staff, and community for making this possible!
We are now limiting our jobsite hours to more of an as needed basis. We still have some cleaning, touch ups, and carpeting to complete, but are otherwise in great shape for our 2024 Partner Families to move in in December!
Habitat Archuleta was established in 1994 to address the critical need of affordable homeownership in Archuleta County. Witnessing the rising costs of homeownership for workforce families, our founders committed to making a difference.
Since then, our organization has grown exponentially, expanding our reach and impact across Pagosa Springs and beyond. Since 1994, Habitat Archuleta has built 33 homes and repaired 30, impacting 122 children and 85 adults.
In 2021, we at Habitat Archuleta tripled our annual build capacity, now partnering with three families per year instead of one.
In 2024, we are partnering with three workforce families in Archuleta County in Year 3 of our push to build 15 Homes in 5 Years.
7 homes to go in our campaign in 2025 and 2026!
