Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22, will be the first day of the 2024-2025 ski season at Wolf Creek Ski Area.

Wolf Creek will be open for 7-day-a-week operations beginning Tuesday for its 85th Ski Season.

Opening Day Details
The Bonanza, Treasure, and Nova Lifts will be operating from 9:00am to 4:00pm beginning Tuesday, October, giving access to roughly 30% of the mountain. The Magic Carpet will be open for the Wolf Pup & Wolf Rider Programs.

Uphill traffic is discouraged at this time due to heavy equipment and snow-making operations. Lobo Overlook is a great alternative for skiers and snowboarders looking to earn their turns.

Machine-groomed trails include Tranquility, Bonanza Crossover, Navajo Trail, Summer Day, Divide Trail/Kelly Boyce, Powder Puff Valley, Thumper, Charisma, Bunny Hop, Nova and Susan’s. As usual, with more snow and winter conditions, more terrain and lifts will open.

Lift Tickets will be at Local Appreciation Rates; $68 for adults, $49 for seniors and $34 for children.

Ski School, Ski & Snowboard Rental, and Treasure Sports will be open. The Pathfinder Bar will also be open as well as the Continental Espresso Bar. The Upper Lodge will be available with limited food service.

To kick off Wolf Creek’s 85th Anniversary, Opening Day festivities will take place with skiers and boarders who are wearing the anniversary colors of red and gold receiving a commemorative 85th anniversary sticker. There will be fun events and activities throughout the season that offer skiers and boarders a chance to win prizes and swag. Visit the 85th Anniversary page for details.
