Charter School to Host Halloween Haunted House & Trunk or Treat

Pagosa Peak Open School has announced a special Halloween event scheduled for Friday, October 25, and is inviting community members and businesses to join them in presenting a combination “Trunk or Treat” and “Haunted House”, open to the community from 6-8pm.

Come in costume… if you dare!

Or take the opportunity to advertise your business during the Trunk or Treat event.

The Trunk or Treat is a free event, taking place in the PPOS parking lot on Cornerstone Drive near Walmart… Spots are $20 and include 4 free passes to the Haunted House.  Decorate the trunk of your vehicle and give out flyers, coupons, and candy to the families of Pagosa Springs.

Families, organizations and businesses are invited to reserve a slot for the Trunk or Treat event by emailing Rmarch@ppos.co … or leave a message at 970-317-2151.

The Haunted House — produced in collaboration with the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts and Thingamajig Theatre Company — will feature a spooky (but age-appropriate) tour of the school’s temporarily-haunted hallways, for a modest admission fee.   This will be the first year PPOS has presented a Haunted House for Halloween, and our middle schoolers are putting their macabre minds together and turning our hallways into a family friendly spooktacular.

Think skeletons and witches… and maybe even a mad scientist!

Grab your friends and prepare for some happy Halloween fun on Friday, October 25 from 6-8pm.

PPOS is also accepting candy donations at the school.
