Pagosa Chamber members are invited to sign up for the 2025 Business Happy Hour lottery, during the month of October, through November 1.
Here are some of the benefits to hosting a Business Happy Hour:
- Promotes your business
- Referrals
- Publicity – social media, email, photos
- Highlights your business products and services
- Increases name and brand recognition
- Product sales during the event
- Networking opportunities
- Introduce a new business
- Partner with other nearby Chamber businesses to increase lottery chances, share event costs and improve location exposure
- Partner with a non-profit or home-based business, that may not have store frontage. Increase lottery chances, share event costs and capitalize on better business collaboration.
What the Chamber will do for your Business Happy Hour event:
- Promote the event on social media, updates, Livestream, radio, and email
- Promote before, the day of and after the event
- Work closely with the host to make sure things run smoothly
- Promote your Business Happy Hour on the weekly Chamber radio show for several weeks
- Promote your Business Happy Hour through the Newsletter and Weekly Updates email
- Invite Chamber Members and other members of the business community
- Display event signage in front of the venue on the Business After Hours date
- Greet the guests
- Provide registration table and staff
- Provide setup and clean-up of the bar and registration areas
- Promote the door prizes
- Provide the table for the bar, glasses, bar staff, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (if you do not have a current liquor license through the State of Colorado). If you have a valid liquor license, contact the Chamber for liquor handling guidelines.
As the Host business, to ensure the success of your Business Happy Hour event, here are some suggestions:
- Provide ideas for the Business Happy Hour flyer or the artwork itself, subject to Chamber approval
- Promote your Business Happy Hour with personal invitations to your client list
- Provide a venue large enough to support 40-50 guests
- Provide light food service for 40-50 guests
- Provide door prizes to increase attendance, if desired
- Provide the names of up to 5 guests you are hosting to be admitted without charge

Selecting from the above dates, please give us 3 months, in order of preference, that you would like to host a Business Happy Hour.
Submit your business name and contact information. If partnering with another business, each business can submit an entry. More chances to win!
