Free Digital Training for Main Street Businesses

The Pagosa Springs Main Street Program achieved national accreditation with Main Street America (MSA) in February this year.

As part of our membership, MSA offers free virtual and on-demand small business training through its Small Biz Digital Trainers program.

Since launching in 2023, the program has successfully trained over 115,000 participants, with 94% reporting a positive impact on their businesses. PJ’s Fine Bamboo Rods, located in the heart of our district at 262 Pagosa Street, participated in the free 1:1 digital consultation.

PJ’s co-owner Rosanna Dufour reported, “The Main Street America consultant was extremely knowledgeable, provided me with numerous ideas and resources, and was very compassionate about the challenges our Main Street will face in the coming years. I can’t believe this was a free resource. I walked away with more ideas and resources in one hour than I have from six-week paid marketing courses.”

Main Street district business owners can attend webinars, enroll in on-demand trainings, and book one-on-one sessions with expert trainers. These free resources help empower businesses to thrive in today’s digital economy. For more details and to register, visit Main Street America’s Small Biz Digital Trainers.

Welcome New Main Street Advisory Board Members
We’re excited to introduce three outstanding new members of the Main Street Advisory Board: Santos O’Cañas, Mario Garcia, and Darren Gantt. After a thorough application and interview process, the board nominated these three candidates based on their passion, expertise, and commitment to our community. Town Council officially approved their nominations during the August 22 regular meeting. We look forward to the fresh perspectives and energy they will bring to our team as we continue our Main Street efforts.
