Colorado DMV Working to Resolve Statewide Outage

The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is working with the Office of Information Technology and vendors to resolve a technical issue affecting driver license services offered in office and online.

Most in-office driver license and ID card services are affected, except written tests. Driver license offices can still perform written tests, and customers who take the written test can complete the driver license issuance process without retaking it if they return within 180 days. @HOME Driving Knowledge tests(opens in new window) are also still available.

Online driver license and ID card services are also unavailable.

Currently, there is no timeline for when services will be restored. The DMV will provide updates via its social media pages and at DMV.Colorado.gov(opens in new window).

The DMV appreciates the patience of Coloradans as the Division works with its partners to restore services.
