Pagosa Center Summer Theatre Camp for Kids Will Perform ‘Finding Nemo’

Thingamajig Theatre Company is thrilled to announce the 2024 Whatchamawhozit Summer Theatre Camp at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts.

This two-week day camp runs from July 1 to July 12, with an exciting production of DISNEY’S FINDING NEMO KIDS! Open to kids aged 7 to 14 (special requests for 6-year-olds considered), this camp offers a rare opportunity to learn from professional performers and directors.

Our camp is in its 13th year and is more popular than ever! It’s taught by the talented artists performing in Thingamajig’s main stage shows: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Escape to Margaritaville, and Beauty and the Beast. This summer, award-winning director Tyler Price will be working directly with the kids, making it an extraordinary experience.

Campers will enjoy learning all aspects of theatre, including singing, dancing, costume design, and aerial silks. Registration also includes a ticket to see ‘Beauty and the Beast’ on July 10.

Camp details:

Dates: July 1 – July 12 (No camp on July 4)
Times: 9am – 2pm, Monday through Friday
Performances: July 13, 14, 15, and 16
Audition Day: June 29 (Video auditions welcome)
