Pagosa UU Fellowship to Explore ‘Shinrin-yoku’ this Sunday

By De Anna Hoyle

Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese term for ‘bathing in a forest atmosphere’ will be explored further at the June 16 Sunday service offered by Susan Kuhns, local health coach and certified nurse practitioner. Susan states that through this practice, you discover the healing power of nature and trees, lose yourself in the beauty of your surroundings, leave everyday stress behind, and reach a place of greater calm and wellness.

As we continue to grow our community of shared values and deepening our spiritual practices individually, we look forward to the shared experience in forest bathing throughout the summer and fall. Stay tuned for upcoming dates.

Forest Bathing, An Emotional Reset is the service title for at the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in-person service, which are normally held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 10:30 am. We meet to offer each individual support in their unique spiritual path and an opportunity to participate in positive social and environmental action. We welcome diversity and invite everyone to share in our faith community.

Join us in person at Unit B-15 of the Greenbriar Plaza 301 N. Pagosa Blvd. on the north side facing the Pagosa Peak. You can also join us through our offered Zoom services using the following meeting link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8991941305
