It was a cold smoke kinda day at Wolf Creek Ski Area in Southern Colorado after a storm left 12 inches of fresh powder.

Conditions are powder and packed powder with excellent conditions and some unmarked obstacles. The quick moving storm elevated the all-natural midway settled base to 50 inches.

All lifts — Alberta, Charity Jane, Elma, Treasure Stoke, Bonanza, Elma, Nova, Raven and Lynx lifts — are operating from 9:00am to 4:00pm with 100% of all terrain open. Lift tickets are at regular rates: $85 for adults, $54 for seniors and $42 for children. Wolf Creek Ski School, Ski and Snowboard Rental, Pathfinder Bar and the Wolf Creek Lodge (Upper Lodge) are open. Raven’s Roost Pizzeria and The Continental Espresso Bar are also open and serving up delicious on-mountain lunches and hot beverages. The Alberta Grill is also open Wednesdays thru Sundays serving fanfare favorites in the Alberta Area.

Treasure & Noel Sports are also open. Treasure & Noel Sports at Wolf Creek Ski Area have great holiday gift options for the skier in your family. Noel Sports has an excellent blowout sale on skis, boots and boards.
