Take the Main Street Community Survey

In collaboration with the Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation (CDC), the Town of Pagosa Springs is working on a community-led revitalization effort for our downtown area or “Main Street.”

The Town is currently an Affiliate Member of Main Street America, a national program, and desires to expand our participation in the program locally to help build capacity toward downtown revitalization.

Through a state-level chapter called Colorado Main Street, which is managed under the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), the program provides technical assistance, funding and resources to help communities beautify and enhance their core downtown areas.

Official Main Street communities receive a full range of technical assistance, training, consulting services, mini-grants and scholarships. A kickoff meeting was held on June 1 with downtown business owners and interested community members.

To become an official Main Street community, local volunteers are needed to serve on an Advisory Board to help with advocacy and project coordination.

We value and appreciate your input to help us develop a vision and strategic plan to showcase our downtown’s unique assets, promote economic strength, and help our community thrive. Please take a few minutes to complete a short online survey, here.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities as part of the program, too. If you are interested in serving on the new Main Street Advisory Board, assisting with events, being a sponsor, or participating in future community input meetings, indicate how you’d like to get involved at the bottom of the survey.
