In the news website, Raw Story, there’s an article with a typo in the first sentence… right here:
In a series of tweets on Sunday afternoon, Donald Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington leashed out at Fox News less than 24 hours after the president called into the conservative network to air out 17 minutes worth of his grievances.
‘Leashed out’?
That’s an interesting – even amusing – typo, in a way, since the former president and his associates, and his spokespersons, family and friends, and others in his orbit, do seem to lash — not ‘leash’ — out quite a bit. And quite often. But considering their temperament, and all… when, so to speak, they’re working themselves up into a lather… who knows? ‘Leashing’ and ‘lashing’ could be one and the same; almost identical, in a weird, amusing sort of way.
Speaking of typos, there’s actually one humdinger of an amusing typo in pictures of Trump Cards, the cards that Mr. Trump wants his supporters to carry. There were articles, in a number of news media, with pictures of several versions of the card, which look like credit cards.
I wrote about the Trump Cards, just recently, in the Daily Post, and I had the pictures of Trump Cards in the article.
And I’ll be darned! There was a typo in one of the cards, that someone or other, perhaps someone in the former president’s orbit, might have missed?
Instead of ‘OFFICIAL TRUMP CARD,’ that was printed in three of the four cards, in the picture (below), one of the cards has ‘OFFICAL TRUMP CARD.’ This could be serious, if some card-carrying Trump supporters are showing off their ‘OFFICAL’ cards.
And while we’re on the subject of card-carrying individuals, a long time ago, various folks were being accused of being ‘card-carrying communists’. That was when — those many decades ago — communism was an awfully big deal, when the old, former USSR — the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics — was about as communistic as Russia, and some of the other former nations, that were in the old USSR, still seem to be, these days…
Which, when you think about it… card-carrying Trump supporters… and card-carrying communists… is kind of amusing.
