Town of Pagosa Springs Announces ‘Make History Here, Now’ Events

The Town of Pagosa Springs is seeking the young and young at heart, creative or curious, to create a vision for the future of the Historic Water Works site. This is Town’s only public historic site – a unique resource to residents and visitors! But we need your help!

What should be done with the wall? Or the stone arch bridge? Or the structure? What would make your kids want to visit here? What do they want to see? What would make this a cool place to visit?

This is your public historic site, help us make your wishes reality.

The Town Historic Preservation Board will host a series of three design vision exercises to inspire attendees to come up with creative ideas for the future use(s) of the Water Works site. This site will eventually host the River Walk trail connecting Cotton Hole across the San Juan to River Center.

We hope you will attend and take part in creating this vision for this place that you will feel connected to and cherish the future.

Make history now.
