This rustic diner is at the “junction” of U.S. Hwys. 84 and 160. Imagine a mountain Denny’s. There are dozens of good choices for breakfast. Lunch is not bad; dinner can be hit or miss. But prices are cheap – see their menu. It’s a good place to stop for breakfast – served till 12:30 – on the way to the ski slopes or trout stream.
Adding to the classic tourist appeal, the Junction also has a well-stocked gift & souvenir shop. This could be handy if you’re on a hunting trip with your buddies, for instance, and you need to grab a romantic souvenir t-shirt or ash tray to take home to please the wife.
The Junction is not fancy; just a very comfortable, small-town café. Breakfast here will start the day right.
