Call Out to Pagosa Photographers

The Chamber of Commerce is working on a Local Rewards Program in 2018. This program is anticipated to be rolled out to the public in the third quarter of this year. The rewards will benefit the local shopper, our businesses and our non-profit agencies. The first order of business is to find an “iconic” picture of Pagosa Springs to brand the card and the program. Therefore, the Chamber would like to engage the community and we are putting out an all call to photographers to submit that perfect Pagosa photo.

Here are some guidelines for photo submission. Photos should be at least 300 dpi and should be at least 2048 pixels by 1536 pixels in a horizontal format in EPS or TIF preferred but JPG or PNG will work as well. The shot should be a single shot, not a collage or multiple images in the same photo. The photo should avoid focusing in on one business. If the photo has open space near the top of the picture that is a plus as text will be placed in this area. A small purchase fee and credit when available will be offered to the photographer. The best part is that your photo will be everywhere local!

So what is an “iconic” photo of Pagosa… Pagosa Peak, Square Top or a mountain range, Wolf Creek Valley, the river or hot springs or downtown? Does your photo include just scenery or perhaps an animal, hiker, skier or mountain biker? Submit your photos and let’s see what Pagosa means to you.

Submissions must be in by 5pm on Friday, February 23, 2018 in an electronic format: thumb drive delivered to the Chamber (will be returned to the photographer if not selected) or emailed to director@pagosachamber.com.

Questions can be directed to 264-2360.
