Brayden Mills ‘Celebration of Life’ Benefit This Sunday, Feb. 11

Jason Mills and Valerie Lucas invite you to the Turkey Springs Trading Post this coming Sunday – February 11 – for a Celebration of Life honoring their beautiful son Brayden Tyler Mills. The event will be staged above the Turkey Springs Store (11497 West HWY 160) in the Turkey Roost. Doors open at 1:00pm.

Come and enjoy The Happy Campers – a fabulous acoustic band – as they pick, sing and celebrate Brayden earning his well deserved Angel Wings! All band tips will be donated to the Brayden Fund.

David and Maria Olsen, owners of the Turkey Springs Store, are happy to host this glorious event. Pot luck and BYOB are the order of the day. Maria wants to celebrate “because little Brayden is a very happy boy now!” She also would like folks to know that “this is for our Jason and his family.”

The Mills family consists of Jason and Valerie and their lovely children: Denton, Dallas, Katelynn, Jase and Dalton.

“He was very personable and left a deep mark on the heart of all who met him. He taught us compassion, how to have empathy for those less fortunate than ourselves. Gratitude for the blessings we have and to always hold on to hope. His smile was contagious, his heart was pure and his love was genuine.”

After fighting a continuous uphill battle with medical issues for years, Brayden finally succumbed. And now his family needs our help…

You may present donations to the family this Sunday at the Turkey Roost or send your checks to Citizens Bank in Pagosa Springs to: Valerie Lucas for the Brayden Mills Memorial Account. You may also donate on Facebook at Go Fund Me:

Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of meeting Brayden, but I will be there on Sunday to celebrate and honor this brave young man and his loving family.

See you there!
