‘Leading Edge’ Class Offered in Durango

The Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center is offering a Leading Edge for Entrepreneurs Business Planning and Management Course. This program is appropriate for owners and managers of new and growing businesses of all kinds, including nonprofits and agriculture.

The session starts on Wednesday, April 26 and runs through Wednesday, June 21. The workshop will be offer valuable, practical, hands-on knowledge in all aspects of running a business.

Sessions will be from 6pm to 8pm in the Education Business Hall, room 108. This class will be a hybrid format – blending classroom time with online learning modules. Classroom meeting dates will be April 26, May 10, May 24, June 7, and June 21.

Learn to create a successful business, test ideas, explore possibilities, determine feasibility. Master money management, budgeting and accounting. Learn marketing, gain valuable access to resources and learn from others in a motivational setting.

The instructors will be Terryl Peterson and Jasper Welch along with guest presenters who are specialists in their respective fields. Only $300 for the entire course or $50 per session. Scholarships available.
